power source for bed lights and tail gate light strip.
Several fella been asking about how i hooked my lights. I borrowed the idea from another forum user to tap the tail lamps instead of aux switch because i didn't like to turn the ignition every time. I just didn't like the idea of chopping intoa brand new harness. The plugs in the next photos are located on the inboard side of the drivers side of receiver hitch. If you have an rv prep package these may be already occupied, but you could still use them to splice in rather than using the trucks harness
Drivers side l looking forward
Ford part number for write harness
Hit the unlock button and flip switch....bam. Those two connectors contain the seven functions of the rv plug. The one that is just a pair is a constant hot and a ground. I plan on accessing the other wires for a line of fire light bar soon. If i get a 5th wheel and need in bed plug, just unhook these connectors and plug in pig tail. Hope this helps
