I see Mac and a few guys are talking about timing lights....

I need my truck timed but dont have the cash to go buy a timing light and ferret adapter currently. Does anyone in the Indiana area have one that they would be willing to help me time my IDI with ? If so, let me know how much you would want to help me time this old beast ?

Looks like you're about 2 hours from me, but i could use that as an excuse to see my buddy in plainfield.....

 

I m up in Ft Wayne and need to check/adjust my timing as well. Look's like Whitestown is about 2.5 hours. If you guys are going to meet u let me know....I may be up for a road trip.

My truck is on the verge of a catastrophic failure and thats a bit far to drive my gas truck.

So the only days i can do this are Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday when i can borrow my wife's car...

My truck needs a few things fix'd before I could make that trip. Since it got cold, my u-joints are demanding attention and a new oil leak behind the intake manifold will prevent a trip that far up the highway.

The oil leak is the deal breaker as I may have to remove the intake. This may have to wait until Spring.
