i am changing out the glow plugs today. i have the valve covers off and i cleaned out all the oil that is around injectors, etc. will i still have oil going down into the cylinder after i pull the plug even though i cleaned everything?

You will be fine. I hope you got motorcraft/beru glow plugs. Cheapo's like autolites will swell in the head and can cause lots of problems down the road. Like being impossible to replace without removing the head to get it out..

Ya, that is with injector work. You really should hardly get anything in the cylinders doing glow plugs. Especially if you cleaned up around there.

well i sucked all the oil around the plugs but it still seems like alot got into the cylinders. do i have to pull any fuses or anything before i turn over the motor to get the rest out. or should i just try to suck it out of the cylinder with the pistons at tdc?

Fuse 22. I bumped mine a few times just to be sure.

I'm sure it does. Front of the passenger side manifold you should see a small tube that snakes up the front of the motor that connects to the ebp sensor on top of the motor towards the front. Hopefully that makes sense.
