There is some drone up to 40-45 mph then it drops off to very little. It is not annoying at all. Installed in same location of old muffler(under the hanger)for best support. It turns a lot of heads. Especially trucks next to me.
People even want to race me?? really in a F-350 flatbed chassis cab?

Not loud at all. You hear it at idle but it is not loud. It is loudest as you apply gas, like under acceleration. Thats where you hear a drone sound but it isnt annoying. I think you will be happy with it. I am.

I just installed this kit a couple weeks ago. The install was easy and painless, I did it on the ground without jacking, but I did have to cut the OEM exhaust just rear of the muffler to remove.
The sounds is nice and crisp, but not overbearing. It's just about right - nice rumble at idle, great sound on acceleration, and there's no drone on the highway.
Thus far I've noticed no difference whatsoever in mileage.

If you are not wanting drone, then stay away from dronemasters, I mean FlowMasters...especially a 1 in 2 out. Something with a perforated x-pipe inside is what you want to eliminate drone. My local exhaust shop carries them in stock. Also, if you choose to do 1 in 2 out, any muffler is going to have at least some drone to it. You need to eliminate the y pipe and feed 2 pipes in to muffler with 2 out to eliminate it all together. I have had duals on nearly every vehicle I have ever owned, and have had more than a few flowmaster setups. The more I learned how exhaust systems worked to change sound and flow of gases, the more I realized flowmasters are hopeless to be drone free, just by design.
