here it is (from LMC) on my truck guys.just put 'er on.im happy.now to see how the chrome holds up in a few winters.i guess this is the question, but the oem stuff didn't fair very well either.in it's defense it was 15+ years old.so time to be replaced i suppose.anyhow, here's some pics with the stuff made in Canada from LMC:

(side note.this is the first time i noticed the auto body shop's mistake painting my truck.look at the drivers side cab corner.they put the pin stripes on upside down lmao! i never noticed that before, and it's been painted over a year now.i should take it back and have them fix it lol.)

gives it that little extra touch i guess.im old school.the more chrome/stainless the better.

another side note;
you know that stainless you see on some trucks for the lower rocker panels.it's shaped as a V and covers up both sides, the lower and the upper,up to the first lower pin stripe? well i got that.like a dummy without thinking.that V panel is best for single colored trucks not the two tones.
im not going to put it on.im going to order the stainless panel that only covers the lower section instead.it'll look best.i held it up there with some masking tape to look at it,and it completely covers all the green down low.just doesn't look right.
edit; ahh $26 bucks difference between ICI (Innovative Creations)#T0437-304M 5 5/8" V panel and the #T0447-304M 3" wide lower panel only.i think i'll just see about cutting it then.won't be any $ saved due to shipping.kinda too bad to cut this up lol ah well.Kustom is as Kustom does.

got the V panels cut down in half, cleaned up and installed on one side.that was a lot of work lol.wish i just ordered the right ones.ah well it's working.after work tomorrow i'll finish (probably) up and do the other side.but this is the finishing touch i was after right here.
im getting carried away now for a 20 year old work truck.i'm gunna stop now..........for a while anyway.

The LMC Molding looks pretty good,it's a lot better than nothing.I wonder if you could cut it to look like the Factory OEM Molding? I noticed something on my Truck the other day.First off it's Colonial White with the Tan Interior, and I thought my Side Molding was Black. But I was looking at it in the Sun,and it's a dark Brown..So Ford made the Moldings in a lot of Colors...

Lookin good! I originaly started this post hoping to find some nice "survivor" molding someone woukld part with. I'm surprised it has hung around this long, don't get me wrong I'm glad it has. I enden up finding some pretty good stuff here locally but still need drivers side front and rear doors and could use the small piece on the bed too. So all but the piece on the front fender. I have decided to stay oem just to match the passanger side. if anyone has some please let me know. Thanks for all the pics and lookin good...

The stuff at LMC is identical to OEM. They have several different styles even to match what Ford did diferently over the years.

oh no lol.do i dare ask?
ok,what looks so off?
oh,you mean never noticing the upside down pin stripe on the cab corner for over a year now? that did surprise the heck out of me when i went to put the trim on,that i never noticed it before.

no.not really.but the average person will never know.i held a piece up to an old oem piece and the oem is a little bit thicker and on the ends, the center chrome is encapsulated by the outer black molding.the lmc stuff is simply off a long roll and the ends are not enclosed.
you'd have to be restoring rather than customizing to ever care.

I know this is an old thread but I was curious if anyone knew the correct part number from LMC for these moldings. The links provided goes to chrome bumpers....

I just finished painting my rig and want to replace my moldings.

I have a 1994 standard cab long bed... Is 49-2663 the correct kit?

Thanks!

according to my records you'd be correct:

100k miles - 104k miles (May 5 - mid July 2013 )
"LMC Body Side Molding Installed #49-2663"

they look the same as the day i installed them thus far.
