Thanks Abe. The emblems are original. I hand painted them. The chrome is ok, a little pitted, but serviceable. I did replace my outside door handles. They were really bad. I will replace my inside handles, maybe next year or so,
Thanks Keith. If anyone knows what it is like to do a fire truck, it would be you. Received the second issue of Vintage Fire Trucks. that Mack ladder truck is to die for. Our trucks in my company were tiller rigs. Looking forward to the issue when Fire Patrol is in it

Thanks Jim! I was impressed with the second issue as well. The rig will be in the next issue. I previewed the story & it came out nice. I'm buying 20 additional copies to hand out to family and people who helped me with the truck.
Been working on the wiring and it is now complete. Mounted the fuse panel in the engine compartment, near the fire wall. Then I put it in wire loom all the way to the rear.
My friend came over a couple of week ends ago and started to install the glass. Front windshield and back glass are in. One a vent window is in. He will finish next time he comes over. He is a professional glass guy. Knows all the tricks. I had all new glass cut, except the windshield. That was in pretty good shape.
Hear a e a few shots of the interior of the truck. I made a box for my switches. Came out pretty good.. My new directionals have a built in 4 way flasher, so it uses only one flasher.
