Short answer: No you can't.

To kdhama, cause she wants disc breaks. No need to ask why.

Really?

Really not necessary, that is.

After 1997, F-150's recieved the metric wheels...So I can't say it'd be a "Bolt on swap"...

Any particular reason you're being a tad rude to Khadma?

Khadma-I'm assuming for improved braking performance, if I were guessing.

I find it unnecessary, that when given a simple question that ultimately has a simple answer, to further advance it with asking why. It is very foolish, so what if our drum brakes are just fine for most applications, most people like disc brakes and we should not ask why someone wants to do something that is so simple.

I apologize if you consider it being rude, I consider him asking why to be rude. So I said something about it.

I asked "why" because with all the effort there will

Little or no gain.

The only major gain would be if the truck were used

As a trail only vehicle were the brakes are constantly

Subjected to water. The rear brakes are used so

Little and the drums do work well.

I have used explorer disk brakes on fullsize 8.8s. You just need to redrill the rotors and kiss the flange of the axleshaft with an angle grinder
