sid etrim for 63 100 wrong bed
Can I order a set of trim that will fit my 63 f100 shortbed ( wrong-bed ). I am wondering if anyone has tried to use trim in a way that seams to even out the uneven line on the wrong-bed. i have looked around the web for this trim and not really seeing much. I am also looking for pics of a truck that this has been done on. Anyone?

The hood (front and rear of emblem), cowl and door mouldings are the same 1963/64.
The cab corner mouldings are the same 1963 F100/250 2WD/4WD & 1964 F100/250 120" 4WD only.
1963 F100 shortbed Styleside "wrong bed" mouldings are one year only.

I have a semi related question on my 64 style side the trim looks like it was installed from the factory with a down hill slope on the passenger side but drivers side seems to follow the body line. Was it supposed to follow the body line and it was just carelessly put on the passenger side?

there were 3 different types of bed moldings used in 63 and 64...the easiest to find is on the double wall Styleside bed like the 65 and 66 2WD F100/250 trucks used.
The 2nd type is the type as used on the integral bodied trucks...no cab corner moldings and the slant down along the body line of the truck. Their doors have no scallop body line in the doors.
The 3rd, and hardest is the moldings used on the single wall Styleside bed which was carried over into the 61-66 generation and primarily used on the 4WD F100/250 trucks.
Toss in long and shortbed types and that makes for alot of different rear side moldings used in 63 and 64....the integral bodied trucks were last assembled in 1963 as 1963 model year trucks.

I have a pair of bed side mouldings NOS for the 63 unibody longbed. These two pieces are the longest ones made. I suppose if you wanted to cut them down to fit your truck you can. While they look the same, they are right and left specific. I do have other side trim for the 63-64 not sure if I have a complete set.
I do have a complete set of 65-66 side trim for the longbed. These are polished to a nice shine.
