c6 issues

my c6 is burning the 2nd and 3rd gear clutches , just tore it apart, and it was so hot it warped the steels and the pressure plate. the tranny is in my 77 f250 mud truck, it has alto reds, kolene steels, billet servo, upgraded band, and the e40d upgrade, tci reverse manual vb, i run a tranny cooler with fan. first gear looks great, its just second and third. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Second gear is a band, do you mean the two drums behind the pump are burning the clutches?

The drum right behind the pump is the direct drum, its works with third and reverse, the next drum is the forward drum, its on in all forward ranges. The clutches in the case are the low-reverse, they are on in reverse and low gear.

Just about anything could cause these clutches to fail after a rebuild with custom parts. Something is not right for sure, my guess would be the valve body. Maybe do some air checks to check for leaks.
