Richard, the maiden voyage will probably be to chico, which I'm not happy about. I hate going south when it's this hot. Yes, reusing the transfer case, which I found is a 4407
. My owners manual said it was a 1356.

Unless someone put a 1356 in it, all '96 and '97s should have a 4407.
