What's the smallest T case I can put on a 4r100?

What's the smallest T case I can put on a 4r100?
I have a 4x4 4r100 out of a 2000 6.8l Excursion and want to make an AWD car, but the NV273 is just monstrous big. Is it possible to bolt up something smaller from a Ranger or F150?
