Another pile of well done ugly

Ford : Other TRUCK in Ford | eBay Motors

Looks like a lot of work for a "truck" that isn't really a truck. Looks more like a dune buggy to me.

At least it's nicely painted. It looks like an MII IFS but bolted to the sides of the frame?!

I am 99.9% sure that is the truck that was for sale here in my hometown.
I don't think I saved a pic of it, and the craigslist ad is gone, but here was my thread. So it found a new home in South Carolina and now it's for sale again.
That didn't take long...

I remember that lace top. It will be interesting to see what you get back from you message.
For what it is, it looks nice, but I really don't like those huge tires.
It would be fun to drive for a few minutes then it would get old.

I got a reply back, he said it very well could have been from here, but he bought it from a guy in Wisconsin. He didn't know where it was before that.
I have looked it over on eBay and that has to be the same truck.
How many of those would be a twin to the one that was here in town?
No matter really, but that thing has been tossed around like a basketball!

i agree. That $12,000 is not even gonna get that. reserve not met..
I think the guy that had the truck here in town was asking for $20,000 for it.
Thats nuts...

I have the same opinion as Vern.

As many of you that have read my thoughts about rat rods, I absolutely hate them. I've never seen on yet that I'd want to ride in have driven toward me at 55 mph. I also am not a big fan of overly modified vehicles. This "truck" might be a complete bucket as poorly put together as any rat rod but at least it was given a decent coat of paint and the interior looks like someone put some work into it to make it look pretty nice. Most of the butchered up heaps have "patina" on the outside and looks like someone puked up the interior with rusty metal, hacked up dashboards and wheel barrow seats.

Well, one thing is for sure. I bet he doesn't have problems with belt-slip on the alternator!

BOR, that is indeed a puzzling feature, it appears to have a blower drive pulley on the crank.
