My perfect Bride

Even though she was a bit miffed at me for buying the 55 without consulting her first, my bride of almost 33 years has finally embraced the project.

I was doing a bit of finish welding here and there Christmas eve when I ran out of wire, so I called my sweetheart and asked if she could run a spare spool down to me, which she did.

Once there she began checking out all the small pieces on the shelves that I have already bead blasted, overhauled, and painted when she noticed the stock heater unit and asked me if it included an A/C unit. When I told her that it was just a heater she said that she really wanted A/C in the truck too and I explained that I had not budgeted for it.

Well, my bride chimed right back that she would pay for the vintage air kit and anything else needed to put A/C in.

Times like this just remind me why I asked this woman to share my life, But I'm still puzzled why she ever said yes.

she's a keeper my friend !! mine doesn't understand my obsession with old rusty hunks 'o' iron either , gives me crap for the money spent on them , and for not getting anything accomplished , but she never fails to stand behind me and encourage me even when things are not as great as they could be .................

Sounds like a variant of running out of fuel on a dark and lonely road while on a date!

Glad to hear she's on board, and you've upgraded from 250 air.

LOL...I don't mind 250 air if the truck will go 50 in the first place and she is a keeper because no one else will put up with me.

You really had me goin on the cheating thread, was laughing so hard at the end I couldn't compose anything to say.

Best thing you can do is get your wife involved. It the family project then instead of that car you spend time and money on.
