for myself truck fluids are a waste of time and space. in personal vehicles, I have probably run 180,000 miles since 2003, plus another 150,000 in company vehicles. the only fluid I have had to add on the side of the road is windshield washer fluid. The near exception was back in 2005 when a rad hose the ford dealer had off the day before popped off on me. ford paid the tow bill, hooked it up, and filled it. just not worth hauling something around for 4-5 years just in case. now booster cables and a good tow strap, fire extinguisher, and flashlight.

 

Besides the tools, flashlight, and ect. I would suggest a nice 40 cal in the glove box. After all you may need it on the ranch.
