IP Rebuild kits/parts

Hello Gentlemen...In all my time of lurking, searching, reading, and just litterally going page to page trying to learn something...I don't recall coming across IP rebuild kits or parts...

Is there such a thing as an IP rebuild kit or a place to get parts...It seems to me if a kit or parts were available I should try my hand at rebuilding one. I mean hey...I have rebuilt many Ford carbs...surely rebuilding a pump can't be that difficult since I have a complete manual for the DB2...

What do you guys think? Pro's and Con's on this matter is appreciated...

How you gonna know what that sucker flows??.... And what it flows in relation to load and RPM...

There is a reason that they are calibrated on a bench...

They are simple devices, nothing about them is complicated... But the result of their function is. You will not find a rebuild kit short of a stanadyne supplier, and even then, generally they wont run your pump on their stand unless they rebuilt it...

there's a stanadyne supplier near me and they'll rebuild it for about 500 with parts and labor, are you saying that you should just buy a reman one rather than get one rebuild racin?

How did you get that from what he said?? A reman and rebuilt is one in the same.

As for IP's, I think I pm'd you about them once before beercan.
