I have a Banks IQ and was wondering if anyone used it just for gauges while keeping it on stock and programed the truck with and SCT tuner with custom tunes?

 

I do not know the Banks set up but if you want to use just the readings I see no problem. You cannot stack both programs, the fuel timing will toast the engine.

 

Do you think it would be alright if i programmed it using the sct while the Banks is plugged in? With the banks you unplug the pcm plug it into the banks module and run an other wire wipe back to where the pcm plugs in. Do you think it would be ok to program using the sct with out undoing the banks as long as the truck is set to stock. Wouldn't it be just like the dealer changing something on the computer?

 

I am sure as long as you keep the Banks unit in stock, you will be alright. The SCT vendor can tell you more.
