I need to find a adapter fitting from the small Schrader valve on the OE fuel rail to pipe or jic. for a electric gauge installation. or a block that fits in place of the regulator on the fuel rail, I believe its they same as 90's 5.0 stuff but am not having any luck. I just finished adding larger injectors and MAFs with fresh ported heads and flat top pistons and want to watch the pressure and AFR closely. Any Help Would be appreciated Paul from MN

 

You'll have a hard time finding something that fits on the fine threads of the test nipple itself so what you need to do is remove that from the rail and then you can use more standard adapter pieces to get where you need to be.

 

Thanks for your response, That is what I need to do however my fuel rail does not have a removable test port, It is made or welded to the oe rail. Thanks for the picture!
If I cant find this adapter separate, there is a cheap version in my fuel pressure test kit, I may need to buy a cheap kit and take it from that but I don't know what kind of quality it would be for safety???
A better option would be: To find a adjustable rail mounted 2 bolt regulator with extra fitting for a gauge. at a reasonable price or under a hundred bucks.
Any Mustang guys out there?? I believe these are available from the 90's I just have not found one.
