bed swap

i have a 96 f150 supercab shortbed which is a big peice of rust & i was wondering if anybody knows or has seen or heard of anybody putting a 97--03 flairside shortbed on a 96 truck ????????????

never heard of it,but I don't think it would look right,body lines are all wrong even if you could fabricate it to work.

I'd try to find a 92-96 bed and make it easy on yourself. You might find a Flareside through the wrecking yards.

Noeld. Where you located. I know where thers a good stepside box on a 92 here in nebraska and cheap

thx for reply, i am in MO,i dont realy like the looks of the 87-96 flairside beds
if i was going to replace with stock i would just keep a styleside short bed,anybody got a good one resonable ????? which is what i am probably going to do
i was just wondering what the newer style would look like
