2006 Explorer drivetrain vibration noise

Do any of you know whats making the vibration & noise, my 2006 Explorer V8 LTD 4X4 is making a weird noise (vibration) & I think its the front drive shaft CV between the transfer case & the front differential........ this happens when I`m moving & at any speed, I have brand new tires.......TIA, Gerry

I have the same issue with my 1999 Explorer. Did you ever figure out what was causing the noise?

I watched a shop video of the cv being replaced. They said the complaint was a squeal at parking lot speeds. Not sure if this helps butthe repair seemed straight forward and only required a special tool to help tighten a hose clamp type band. If you have a helper you might be able to use vise grips since the clamp only holds the boot to the shaft, to keep dirt and water out. Not sure on price of new cv/rebuild kit.
