Trucks in the shop for winter work

Did a couple things today with my truck and pulled it into the shop for winter work. I've got a lot of things I want to do this winter, but I don't know if I'll have enough time to do them all. A lot of things I'm doing I have already, its just the time thing. I figured I'd put up a list of things I hope to get all done and update when I work on it.

I like build threads, so figured I'd start one myself.

1. transmission. I've got a new triple disc billet racer x converter on the floor of the shop. Trans is coming out soon, but I can't afford a racer x trans. It will be built by a friend who does all my trans work. New flexplate, bolts for it, and trans pan on the floor too.
2. new ujoints and carrier bearing since the driveshafts will be out, have them
3.homemade bellowed uppipes, mine are leaking a little, have all parts
4. passengers side manifold gasket, have it
5. electric fuel, have about half of the stuff
6. new AC wrap under the hood
7. New icp which I have
8. find that flippin electrical drain on my batteries
9. new windshield
10. clean and paint dash original gray as its faded some. Then install new gray dashpad I have.
11. new ford valve cover gaskets/wiring
12. new lockouts to replace auto locks
13. fuel pressure and water temp gauges
14. build a custom front bumper/grill guard/air tank
15. install york on board air, I have
16. reroute passenger side IC pipe for on board air
17. radio/speaker upgrade, nothing fancy
18. another hpop upgrade
19. fix one rust hole on bottom of pass. extended cab

That is my list. I don't have many power adders on this list. Just stuff I want/need to get done. Depending on time, the on board air may wait till next year, as I hope to upgrade the turbo then, and I'd have to do IC pipes again. We'll see. I'll update and include some pics when I start.

That's a pretty good list Darin! You got your work cut out for you this winter. I haven't had time to work on a bumper yet. I need to get my truck running right first LOL! Good luck buddy and keep us posted.

Looking forward to your build thread Darin. Doing stuff besides power adders to keep the truck up is a must imo.

It should keep me good and busy Bill. You're right Gabe, sometimes you gotta do things to keep the truck reliable. Some of this is for sure preventative maintenence, which I do a lot of. Probably more than I need to. Oh, well, it makes me feel good.

I forgot I'd like to fix the one rust hole on the bottom of the passengers side extended cab. Body work's not my cup of tea, but this is on the bottom, and I think I can swing it.

Thanks Pete! I'm gonna give it a run at getting most of it done. I'd really like to get the bumper/grill guard part of the on board air done for sure, if I don't do the rest of it yet, there are a LOT of deer around here..

I'll be gone tomorrow, so I can't start on it till next weekend. I'll probably only get part of one day then too. Crap.

Crap again. Forgot about my hpop issue. I will be sending Joey my pump for another upgrade too.

edit: I updated my original post with the body work and hpop. Hope I don't remember anything else.

I'll be waiting for your thread Glenn. You have quite a few cooler upgrades going on with yours.

Did you get the bellows like I used Darin? They worked really well for mine.
