Glenn,
It looks like that under dash gauge holder you have would be pretty easy to make out of a piece of aluminum sheet stock. I was thinking of doing something like that on my truck when i get gauges.

Thanks for the links Glenn. I like that pod. I don't know why it couldn't be made to work. At worst a couple brackets to mod and mount it under there somewhere. I've got to order a couple things for dad's race car from summit anyway for xmas, so I'll probably grab one in a week or so and be the guinea pig. It won't be installed that quick though..

IMHO....nobody should settle for 2nd best. Most of the items coming out of China are cheap knock offs from quality products that spent many hours and much money in R&D. I have a hard time supporting that idea.

The Chinese sell inferior crap all the time....1 in particular is their less than quality dirt bikes that are all knock offs of Japanese bikes....and lead based paints....Just venting...

Darin...still looking forward to watching your build as I cannot mod mine much these days due to lack of funds!!!

Ya, I hear ya Red. If you look at the picture close, in the top right corner is a yellow sticker that says AutoMeter. I was going to call them but haven't yet. I've always have liked it too but its 'out of fashion', LOL Like I care!!

I also thought that it would work fine Darin, blend in a little better and all I want down there is three gauges. I'll let you be the guinea pig, LOL I just did a search for under dash gauge pods looking for one like in my mule and one of the searches came up with DP tuner, go figure.

I get done fairly early working today, so I may order it then. My plan sunday afternoon was to do some xmas shopping online, so I would have ordered from summit already, but all I ended up buying was stuff for my truck! This is more for my truck, but at least I'll get one person shopped for with the other purchase! Since I didn't buy anything else sunday, guess I'll save on shipping means I can get it in one order now. I haven't checked yet, but I'm sure I can get the single pod like Travis has from summit too.

You can get it from Summit. You have several options to choose from. Here you go, this is the one I have. Auto Meter Gauge Mounting Cups 2204 - SummitRacing.com

I ordered that pod, and a single one like Travis has. When it gets here Glenn, I'll put it in the truck and take a picture for you to see.

Alright Darin when you get done come on down to KY and do that stuff to mine, we'll be good. Wish I had time to do that list you have. I got half the GP's changed in the SD yesterday which was the first day off in a couple months. Glad it was 60 outside.

Ya, Chris, it kind of scares me when I put it down on paper! I'll have a hard time getting this list all done, not to mention your trucks! Now that I worked on a SD 7.3 in town recently, I have a couple more people wanting me to do some work to theirs too. Oh, I need more time, or more energy, or both would be nice!

Jeffrey, I need a vacation, that doesn't sound bad! I'll know what I'm doing by the time I'm done with one truck! By the looks of your sig, you've got a pretty darn nice SD truck, with some real good mods. Just a question, are those crower connecting rods? Got rid of the stock powder rods? They are a great rod, made in the usa, and going in my 514 when it goes back together too.

Sam, I'll get a few pics of some stuff up this weekend. Not sure how much I'll get done yet, I'm gonna get some new carpet and pad installed on sunday that has been laying on my living room floor for 5 months. So, I have to get ready for that, and work saturday afternoon. Not looking like I'll get my tranny out this weekend... I can do some other little stuff saturday morning on it though.

Yea connecting rods. It has a solid base for power that's for sure. Couldn't pass it for the price.
