I could work on my 53 John but the heating bill would eat up my parts fund in a hurry, while the shop is fairly well insulated the big bifold doors are pretty drafty in the colder weather.

Natural gas isn`t cheap here John, averaged out over the yr it`s over a $100 a month. Not too bad but then our house isn`t real big.

Just about everyone who had oil fired furnaces converted to gas because oil was so expensive here.

I liked oil fired furnaces and I got pretty good at fixing minor problems with them.

I have 3 gas fired furnaces, one in each shop and in the house. We had a new more efficient one installed in the house before I retired and new windows as well.

Getting ready to call it a night here in a few minutes Steve but doing good. Noticed in your profile that you do caving, do you have many in your area? sounds like it could be dangerous .

They say there are better than a thousand caves around here, 100 mile radius.. I was more into vertical caving for most of my time..

Have a good rest John..
