Has anyone figured out how to make a copy of their music stored in the jukebox in case it fails and needs to be replaced, or to load into another truck without having to record every CD one-by-one again? FORD will tell you that it can't be done, and that you can only load it from CDs, but being in the computer business, I would take the view that they have just hidden the feature so folks won't screw around with it and then ask for support!
It's just a file system in there, a partnership between SONY and MICROSOFT, and they haven't marketed computers that can't be backed up and restored elsewhere. Unthinkable that they would build a box that only takes data in one direction, and not in keeping with industry standards to have a recovery capability.
Some day, this thing will bust and I have a lot of borrowed CDs in there that I no longer have access to the originals...would like to be ready to reload a new unit if/when that day comes, same as all my other data/music/video/pics on my other computers that are all backed up on external disk. Someone must have cracked FORD'S little secret??? ;-)
