Good Morning Everybody!
I'm gonna finish fitting the bumper on the '66 then start working on that sign for my brother in law.
My middle daughter, Kasie, is going on her first date tonight. He's taking her to the movies. The thought had crossed my mind to answer the door in a ghillie suit and my rifle. I think maybe I should just be clear about the consequences of his actions and leave it at that.

Hang in there with it.

Well, it's hard to pay bills with deals like the one I just made, but it's pretty hard to say no to them, too. I got my '48-'50 Ford pick up.
A guy has been bugging me to "Z" the frame on his chopped top '50 Ford pick up. The thing is, he has two of them. He doesn't have a ton of money either, so I told him I'd do the chassis work for the other truck. I should be done with his truck in a few weeks. After I get the '66's bed floor welded up, it's getting put up until we get nice weather again. I figure a week to "Z" the frame. (the truck is already torn apart with the cab sitting on the frame and I get to return it in the same condition, but lower to the ground) Then I'll have my '48-'50. He says he got a title with it and all.
Yes, I'm pretty excited.

Good deal If your not aware the serial number is on the front frame rail. MAKE sure the title number matches that number. Any number the cab may have is not the one to check. If not they are kinda a issue to get titles for.
I like those trucks, but they are even smaller than my 55.

Just checking in, noithing truck wise. But we have been staying busy. Tim and I spent a few hours in Wendell NC yesterday. The TV show, "Lizard Lick" had thier Christmas open house. So we had to go since it's only a 40 minute drive from Durham, and we hardly miss an eppisode. It was pretty cool, even though my back was mad at me for standing in line for 2 hours just to get to door of the gift shop across the street from the main building. We had to buy a couple T-shirts, and get our picture taken with Amie, and Ronnie, Bobby wasn't around.
And today is Shari's birthday, Tim and I have already gotten her a few things, and we're going out to dinner to Kemps Sea Food House, a few miles from here.
Hope everybody's doing well, all you family's are healthy.
Unk Bob
