That's exactly what I would say if the shoe was on the other foot.

Pretty much the same old thing for this time of year. I was going to go on a little road trip tomorrow. A little over two hours away to buy myself a bigger compressor. I think I'll just stay home now. I don't really feel like traveling with snow on the roads.

Always nice to get out and visit the family. This time of year I don't travel too far from home unless I really know what's in store weather wise.

So how's Alabama treating you?

Sounds like your least favorite weather. Maybe you can send it to New Jersey Steve..

I put out the offer. I'll see if anything comes of it. I think it may be more of the cold I dislike. Of course slush and salted roads sure don't make it any more attractive. It does look quite nice when it's fresh I guess.

Here's a picture I took on a trip last week.

I actually took it with my phone. Wish I had my camera. Normally I take it with me. I thought about it before I left. Then left it at home. They are beautiful birds. See them even flying over town every so often.

I used to see them where I used to hike, about 50 miles east of my place.

I was crusing down the hiway and saw it and a couple crows snacking on some road kill. I hit the brakes and backed up. It left and landed on the top of a tree that looked like it was topped. Wish I had a little more zoom on my phone.
