Oh No, No, No, Not November BS!
Primary in my mind is a month for giving thanks for all the blessings in one's life. Even the very small ones we sometimes disregard when contemplating the larger issues that bring us down on a daily basis. Then there is doing your civic duty for your country, state, county or town regardless of party or candidate next week...
And of course, then there is hunting.
Oh yeah, then there is the pre-Christmas deluge which has already started.
Today I've got a HVAC tech coming back to tell me how much its going to cost to keep heat going through the rest of the winter... Oh F'n joy.
Ya'll have a good one.

This week is taking too long to end. I have my 4th and final vacation of the year next week, during which I'll turn 40 years of age. Good times...
I went earlier this week to get my license renewed. I was denied. My current license is still valid, but it has a hold on it that says "broken marker in DC". I'll keep y'all posted as to how this little debacle turns out.....

I've got 80 on my thermometer here at the house.
I'm working on a ramp for the dogs to be able to get up into the house.
One of them , Easy Boy, has developed a heart condition (not heart worms) and is having trouble getting up the 7 steps to the porch.
It will have 3 ramp sections with two flat platforms to break the slope.
As all of them are getting up in age this was something that was going to be needed at sometime anyway.
