Steve, glad to see you drop in. My new theme song is "Don't Worry, Be happy"... since that's about all I can do.

We were late getting home, but the program was wonderful. Of course I hardly took my eyes off of our Grandson on the drums.

With this weather front that is supposed to pass through, there will be no sawmilling tomorrow, but the rest of the week will be busy for sure.

There's one thing about warm winter weather...

I really hate it when it changes back to what its suppose to be.

I understand David but you can always dress warm, when it is hot you can only take off so much...

That's true. Can't remember the last time I had a good tan which makes one such as I at least less noticeable ... Still, the number of folks this past weekend wearing shorts & flip-flops was amazing... just wasn't me.

Last night Terri & I went with my niece (8-9th grade teacher) to Lemuria Bookstore to get a signed copy of Jon Meacham's "Thomas Jefferson, The Art Of Power" and listen to the author read from it. Was pretty cool.

Time is getting short for the the year folks. Hope you've got all your shopping done.

I've been dealing with med issues for a few days now. My "med" group (docs) got together & made some decisions & next Friday I'll get my gall bladder snipped & vac'ed out of my body. (literally) Going to be nice to be off the rat poison.

Terri is making her holiday run to Lake Village today & I'll be doing the bachelor thing.

Double down on your prayers for those in Connecticut.

David, I wish you the best with the gall bladder thing. It generally means that your turd days are over, but sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do to protect your health. My bride had it done (the old way) in '82 and she is fine.

Hey guys, haven't poked my head in here in a while. Things are still going for me, not great but I'll manage. I celebrated my fiancee's birthday today, took her out for dinner and to see all the pretty Christmas lights along the coast. Tomorrow I'm thinking about turning some wrenches on my 76, trying to sort out the idle problem that has plagued it since I started the project.

Oh I did finally get the brakes fixed on it, needed a new master cylinder and booster to fix, but it now stops on a dime and gives change back!

Anyhow, y'all take it easy... I'll try to pop in again when I get the chance!

Congrats on the deer, Stacy. I've been working on the 96 truck I bought. I drove my 99 to work today. I had the folks at the red light looking for the big truck with the air horns. LOL. I went to Barrys U Pull It and got a air comp of a old Cadi with air ride. $ 15.00. It works great. Just another one of my bad habits. Some kids never grow up. Per my wife.

Let me catch up...

Lynn, I've had everybody & his bro tell me how easy this thing is gonna' be & my regular GP sez the dump part won't be so bad after a year. Did my pre-op visit today & I'm good to go. At least if the world ends, I'll be asleep.

Tim, Glad things are working out to some degree. You got a girl & can buy some parts, so things can't be all bad. Thanks for stopping by.

Stac, You ain't too old if you can drop & skin a deer, even if it takes two.

Steve, Glad to see you on the board & to know you're turning wrenches.

Yall' have a good evening.
