Garry,
So sorry for your loss. I went thru the same thing this year from April to the end of August, we lost our buddy a little bit at a time. It was so hard to let him go.
You take care, let your self cry, feel bad, whatever it takes.

We too are sooo sorry for your loss and understand completely as they are part of the family...our 17 yo "pup" past away 2 years ago, she use to climb under the cars with me to help......about a year after we went to the pound and brought home a little race car (2 yo).......she is pure white with an orange stripe running from head to tail.....and dark blue pupils.

our best thoughts for you and your family.

This thread was up and my wife commented how sad that is. We had our Sadie dog that she had before we got married. Sadie was very protective of our daughter. Sadie had heart problems and the doctor said she would live about 6 months, she made it two years before we had to end her pain....that was probably 10 years ago and it just brought tears to my eyes.
We have three now, two Cockers and a King Charles. One of my wife's friends said one time if she died she would want to come back as a Kirby dog. Yeah we spoil them, but they are something special.

Homade, so sorry to hear the sad news.
I have lost quite a few over the years, I know how you feel. Not long ago we lost our black lab who died while I was holding him, of old age. He was 11 which is about the limit for labs according to our vet. Years ago I lost my favorite dog of all time, my border collie who was over 16 years old. I still miss both of them and a few others over the years. Right now we have 3 rescued dogs and 3 rescued cats. I think they rescued me a few times.

Gary and his wife Linda were gracious enough to offer my wife and me a room for the night after we left Truckstock in September. I can tell you one thing, even though Linda is a really nice lady I could tell Bandit was more excited to see Gary come up the driveway. From that moment on the two were inseparable and I could tell Bandit was Gary's baby. He crawled up into Gary's arms while he sat in the recliner and was in heaven as Gary rubbed his belly.

Gary sorry to hear about Bandit, sounds like he went through some hard times at the end. He's in a better place waiting for you in the recliner in the sky. But please, don't be in a hurry to see him, he'll wait for you, we need you here.

We're so sorry to hear this Garry. I just told Marcie and Vicky and they said they are sorry too. We all loved Bandit and will miss him too.

So sorry, we went though this 6 weeks ago with our 12 yr old Lab Sarah. It's amazing how they work their way into your heart. We now have 10 week old Lab Colby to carry on Sarah's legacy.

I am so sorry for your loss. My family also experienced this only a month ago with our 15y/o catahoula leopard hound. We understand your pain. Just remember all the wonderful times and they will live forever in your heart.
