Need a Yoke! Help me find one please!
I've got a 76 F-250, NP205, dana 61 rear. I need a new yoke for the rear diff. I ordered one from LMC that was supposed to be correct however it isn't. The splines are correct but the u-joint support is too large. Any of ya'll know where I can get the correct rear yoke?

Ford lists three different yokes for the D61. The difference is the u-joint, all other spec's are the same.
D0TZ-4851-B uses the 1310 joint, the yoke is 3 7/32" wide outside to outside where the u-joint seats.
D0TZ-4851-A uses a 1330 joint and is 3 5/8" wide
D4TZ-4851-A uses 1 1350 joint and is 3 7/8" wide
I've located suppliers for all three, let me know which one you need and I'll post the suppliers that have it.

I use blumenthals in oklahoma city. you may ask some of the parts guys around you if they have a number for a driveline specialist place(what blumenthals is) somebody that rebuilds clutches and driveshafts and so on.
Even if you call those guys i think youll end up talking to Armando, extremely helpful guy in the yoke/u-joint department you will get good info at least
301 South Western Avenue Oklahoma City, OK 73109
(405) 232-9557

They will ask what type of u joint your using and they like Precision(brand) numbers such as '369' or '354' but the numbers mike0o0o0 gave will also work if you know them.

It is possible yes, but I dont want to change the caps. I just had a new beefier driveshaft built, just cant find the yoke to throw it back togeher. Mine had a centering tab missing... the drivetrain industries out here in Denver can't get one, so I'm left to the wisdom with you gents (which has def saved my a$$ in the past!)

Just so you know, the last list price from Ford was $51.98. Both of these places that have it are obsolete parts suppliers so I wouldn't expect to be able to "deal" with them, and the price is probably going to be higher than list.
You might try looking for a driveline shop online and see if you can get one from them. Ford didn't actually make this part. It was probably sourced from Dana as part of the rear assy.
If you search use this number 2-4-4291-X, that's the identifying number that Dana (?) used.

So the ONLY place that helped me was a little drivetrain joint in Texas. He looked up a Yoke that was the same only a tad longer on the U-Joint side (not the splined side) and that is the only 1330 left in america apparently. Spicer is backordered from their supplier and can't get them to send out. So if any of ya'll are looking at this having the same problem might as well upgrade everything to the 1350 style yoke, because that you can still get. Wish I would have known this was going to happen before I rebuilt my drive shaft because I would have upgraded as well. Thanks to all you gents for your help.

It's not listed in Carpenters catalog, so the part will be in their obsolete parts section, not among their repro parts.
Antique Auto Supply also has one, it's listed as DOTZ-4851-A
The second digit of 0 (zero) in the part numbers prefix can also be listed as the letter O. Why? Because most partsguys pronounce the zero as oh, so it gets listed as such.
And btw: This is not referred to as a yoke, it's a companion flange.

Someone posted a pic of their warehouse...it looked like it had been thru a mega earthquake!
1994 LA LA Land earthquake: Antiquated building lost one wall, part of the roof, several rows of parts bins fell over...took us 4 days to straighten up the place.
The owner was a first class cheapskate, used plywood to fix the wall, tarps to cover the hole in the roof. Several weeks later it started to rain, wind blew the tarps off. Another mess to clean up.
