Ranger electric fan conversion

I have a 1998 ranger 4.0 4x4 and was wanting to install an electric fan. I already have the dual fans off a windstar but need the thermo switch and the relay. I would like to use a stock windstar screw-in thermo switch and noticed that on my ranger there are 2 sensors that look very similar to the windstar switch right after the upper waterneck. So my question is can i use 1 of the 2 sensors already of my ranger to control the fan or some how use a windstar thermo switch in the ranger.I would like to keep it as stock looking as possible.

Here the windstar thermo switch
