Here is what i have always used....

for general cleaning,
If its real dirty..... Blue Coral Upholstry Cleaner
For light, general cleaning, I would use simple green (10 water:1 ratio)
For protection, B303 or Primeshine (made by Pro), that is assuming its vinyl, if its cloth, then after cleaning, leave it alone.

Yep. Been on there for six years now untouched. Not saying I'd recommend that, but no issues with it.

303 is the best, used it on boat vinyl, and that stuff takes a beating from the sun. You probably have to buy it on line, if your boat supply doesn't have it. Aircraft stores also have it.

I have had Extang covers since 1997. On my 3rd and I have never used a product on them. Out here in AZ, any kind of stuff acts like suntan lotion and frys the cover.

Armour all is silicone based, and they say not to use silicone on the covers.
