Got my new Edge Insight mounted tonight, now I need to figure out what to monitor. Can you do a manual regin with these things? I looked around a little but didn't see it. Maybe I need to be driving to do that. The manual says it can but then also states that it may not depending on the unit?

Sadly, no on the Edge regen.
You cannot command a regen on the 2011 or 2012 pickup models except dealers with IDS.

The 2013 will include this command feature built in for the XL and XLT pickup models but that doesn't help us.

You can monitor way too much like mine or you can choose some fancier backgrounds and monitor less.

Whats the price on these babies? Can you reset CE'sL with them? Or are they strictly for monitoring purposes?

 

Rick the price really varies from on site to another. And yes it stores fault codes and yes you can clear them.

 

Whats the best site to get the best price? Is the Insight a programmer too, or does it just monitor truck info?

 

The Insight is just a monitor and you can also read and clear CEL codes. You can add a back-up camera also which I plan on doing for my cab over camper.
