mtondreo is starting off with a positive reputation.
my experience with non-ethanol

I have a stock Expy with the Superchips Cortex running the normal tune. I typically buy inexpensive gas from Sam's club and get occasional pinging. I decided to look up one of our non-ethanol stations and try it. I only ran one tank and I did not change the tune (it was $.80 more/gal). at the end of the tank I was averaging 13.2 mpg (this is normal for me) and although there was no pinging - I did not notice any real performance gains either. Just inquiring because I know some of you guys have run non-ethanol and said it made a difference. to be fair premium does not seem to make a difference either. Did I not run it long enough - or is it just me that did not notice a difference?
Just thought I would throw out my experience. I am sure there are threads on it, but since gas has come down a little, I figured I would throw it back up here.
