Linking to this site

In the guidelines it says " Use of the photo galleries for image storage for outside web pages is prohibited." Does that mean I may or may not link to my gallery to show off pictures of my truck? I am kinda new to web page ediquitte. I only want to show off my truck, not use this site as secondary sorage for another site. I'm not sure where you guys draw the line....

You can put a url link to your gallery, but you cannot put a link to an image to be shown on another site. Example would be if you are on another message board, you can put a url link to the picture where someone can click the link and see the picture from it (the url link), but you cannot use the [ i m g ] function there to show the image in your post.

Our server automatically replaces externally linked images with a banner for our site. It cannot tell the difference between "showing off your truck" and bandwidth theft. Bandwidth theft was a big problem at one point, with about 10 gigabytes per month being served to external sources.
