02 F250 4x4 suspension or body knock

I have a knock in my 02 when turning sometimes and when hitting some bumps in the road. It almost sounds like the rear of the driver's side FRONT leaf spring is popping. could possibly be a body mount or something...

It sounds like a clunking or popping sound...

Any tips or tricks on figuring this out?

Any common problems already discussed here that I can read up on and learn?

I to have a nasty clunk coming from that area. Sometimes when turning or hitting a bump. It doesn't have it all the time. It feels like the front suspension is actually shifting over when it happens.

The po put a small lift kit on it and I've had to change the pitman arm bc it was very very worn out. I had the wife get in the truck while I watched the steering to see if anything was moving and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Let me know what you find. I'll look at the sway bar like Bigpipes said. The noise/issue is very un nerving.

My '01 F350 4x4 is doing the same thing. New sway bar bushings, ball joints, unit bearings and axle joints. Does not do it all the time.

my truck still does this once in a while, its a solid front axle its gonna make a little noise. I installed new energy suspension sway bar bushings, new front leaf springs, check the torque on the cab mounts, new shocks, new ball joints etc etc etc. Ever once in a while its gonna make a small amount of noise, you ever drive or ride in a medium duty or larger truck? They creak and groan all the time, its doesn't mean anything is wrong with them. I sunk so much money into this turning bang i get once in a while I'm over it, i KNOW everything is brand new and replaced, i know nothing is broken or loose, i learned that i own a six thousand pound 1 ton 4x4 thats suppose to be used for work and its gonna make some noise, if i didn't need it id go buy a 2wd car!

I think I have the same problem, I have replaced ball joints, shocks, checked and replaced all of the front steering suspension. Still have the dam clunk? Seems like something is shifting or separating most noticeable rough street road.

Actually the noise was coming from the washers I put between the new sway bar bushings and the sway bar. Took the washers out and the noise went away.
All is good. Now to fix my one locking hub so I don't have to run with them locked all of the time.

my truck did that at one time and I found out that where the track bar mounts to the axle housing was cracked. I had it welded and it fixed the problem
