Flatbed Ed is starting off with a positive reputation.
CHT vs ECT

My Edge cs monitor shows only coolant head temp not engine coolant temp.
Yesterday it was showing 206 deg. Normal driving, not hot outside, only 80 deg. So my question is , Will the head temp on my 6.2 show to be hotter than the coolant temp? Or visa versa? My edge monitor was showing engine coolant temp before I updated the software and it seemed to be lower.
Now it just shows head temp. Whats a safe head temp?

I would ask Edge about the loss of the coolant temp sensor data.

Also, I bet the thermostat is 195 degrees. If the CHT is 206, depends on where it is, but that is after the water jacket in the block, so... doesn't sound out of the norm.
