So I took them in asked if they could get American made parts. After two days and calling multiple venders. He said there aren't american made parts for the alternators any where. He said unfortunatly there is only China or Taiwan. So I went with Taiwan because he said they are beefer and they sell to the military (mil spec). I also called a couple places with no luck. Do you guys know of any American companies that make parts for these?

Check the other thread concerning alternators. Some good companies mentioned there.

 

So do those comanies sell parts made in the USA? Looks like some say made in USA, but is that with China parts?

 

That is a question for them. I am all for trying for us built, but lost confidence last year when I bought new rear brake rotors from Ford, and the Motorcraft box said made in China.
