I'm located in Central Pennsylvania and I'm looking for an 8' Truck bed that is preferrably white that I can put on my 2001 Ford F-250 and replace my rusted up old bed. Does anybody on here have any leads.

 

There are at least 5 sellers on eBay, such as this one in Ohio, that do Super Duty conversions and have new take off beds:

Thanks, I saw these and have found some in the Pittsburgh area. I'm just trying to get away from the shipping/hauling costs. I'm on a budget.

 

How new does it have to be? A junkyard may have one in "good enough" condition, and from a year that may be a close match to yours.

 

I've called a few with no luck. I'm not looking for anything to nice just no rust or dents. A few scratches would be ok.

 

It does seem that junkyards never have the part I want either!

There are usually several on Craigslist at any given time. You don't want a "new" take-off it it's 2012 because the bodylines no longer match up. yes, they are direct bolt-on so if the fenders looking different doesn't bother you then go for it.

They can be had from anywhere from $1000-$2500... Found mine in Pukesburg!!

 

I keep looking on craigslist, but no luck yet.

 

First, don't use Craigslist - use SearchTempest.com It searches all Craigslists within the distance you state.

I just did a search within 400 miles of me and got these:

I am not saying these will work for you since I don't know where you live. There were more, these are just a couple examples. You are probably going to be flexible on distance. I drove 2.5 hours one way to get mine...
