1995 E4OD Change 2wd to 4wd

Like to know what is involved in changing trans back section to except a TC such as a 1356 on a E4OD. Also would like to know about how much cost it would be. After reading the forems on TTB conversions if the transmission is not a big expense I would rather do that than buy another PU since mine has only 65000 miles on it and it is in excellent condition. Any help is appreciated

Well, the good news is that the first thing is easy: unbolt the 2wd tailshaft housing and bolt up a factory t-case adapter.

The bad news is that you'll probably have to swap in a different tailshaft (but I can't confirm this). If so, you'll need to tear down the whole tranny because the tailshaft is like the second thing to be put in during assembly.
