I am lookig to trade my 99 F250 for an E350 cutaway with 16'Box. The motor is toast in E now but the trader has a donor motor with same miles (within 1500) out of a 97 F 250.
They are both 5.4l. My question is: are they tuned the same and will it bolt in and run with the Vans CPU? The comp from the truck is not available. I understand the brackets and such will need to be swapped but the question is weather or not it is feesable. If I am goint to have to put in 20 hours of labor modifying or buy a new CPU or bs like that, I wont do it. Also, the trannys should be cool right?
