Keep smilin'

Thanks again Baja, I appreciate your comments.

Thank HN! I'm not too sure about a sticky; thats pretty serious stuff. Your build inspires me and makes me jealous all at once! 6BT crew for the win!

I just went back through trying to find some info on the wheels you have, sorry if I missed it, but if you don't mind can you post the size again and where you got them...thanks!
Thanks man! I think Wimbeldon white is the best white out there fer sure. The wheels are 20x8 steelies from Detroit Steel Wheels. 235/55/20 on front and 285/50/20 on back

Detroit Steel Wheel: Steelies, Baby Moons, Bullets, Beauty Rings

I'm in as well Tim. Looking at your pics and reading what the other guys have said before me reminds me of two old sayings. "Smooth as a baby's but" and "Cool as the other side of the pillow". The 1st one applies already. The second one will apply once you get some more body panels mounted. IMHO. Way cool Tim, way cool.

Thanks guys! It's definitely been a learning experience and tested my capabilities. Wish I could speed it up so I could drive this thing sooner.

Thanks again for the encouragement and comps.

Tim

Steady as she goes amigo.. remember, proceed at the "Speed of right", not the speed of light. Taking your time, as you have been, will pay off in the future. I know that you can see where you want to be, way before its time to be there. The closer I get to finishing part of a project, the harder it is to resist the impulse to rush.. Keeping telling yourself.. "The speed of right"... you cannot go wrong with that..

Is the 6BT the same size as the 4BT but with two
more cylinders added? Like the same bore and all that?
It must be hugeish. As Johnny Depp would say.

Yes, many interchangeable parts. Only difference is the block and the crank. Pistons, rods, and other stuff pretty much the same. Pumps are a little different but share the same architecture.
