OT - Let's see your workbench
#16
I don't have any pics to post, but i can offer this. I was able to obtain some nice wall cabinets as well as multi drawer tool box like benches for less than 100 bucks. I found them at a local shop going out of business....also scoured Craigs for shop equipment, you can really pick up some nice stuff if you have time and some extra cash laying around.

I would take some pictures of mine, but there is just too much stuff on top of them and I can't see them. My shop doubles as a cabinet shop and my truck work space. And it is only 1150 square feet. I have so much stuff in it that it is getting impossible to use. I am about ready to do a giant cleaning and dumpster fill.

Hmm.... clean workbenches usually mean you need something to do! At least that's what I tell myself.
Here's mine. Quaint and full of crap. Just like me! Shop is a 32x36 with 3 8x10 roll up doors. It's a pole building that i finished out the inside. Almost... lol The Two cabinets making up the 1st workbench are Stanley-Vidmar cabinets they were throwing away at work. Repainted them to match my toolbox. Use to have 2x6s laid lengthwise with 1/2" press board top. Just have the pressboard on it for now since I moved them from the front garage. I beat the hell out of it, seems to hold up well. The other bench in the 3rd picture is a home-made one passed down from my dad. Built like a tank, holds up crap like a champ! All the shelves are ones I either built or scavenged from work. The metal cabinets over the 2nd bench are actually truck side boxes. Seem to work well. (Suppose to be my painting area...!

I'd show you a picture of my workbench, but I haven't seen it myself in a few weeks. It's just a piece of plywood on a 2 x 4 frame nailed to the wall.
I did notice this thing in Lowe's over the weekend. It's not bad at all. I wonder if you could build it (including the light and power strip) for $169. The stainless steel version is $90 more.

And mine.... Like Topmoo, it is shared with my cabinet shop. We do the rough stuff down here where it's unheated, and assembly and final stuff in the heated 650 sq ft shop about 50 feet from here. Kid that works for me always wants to take over my 'truck shop' to give us more room to work. Fat chance.......
