Installed and works fine - seems to pull harder throughout rpm range but haven't really got to check it out yet. I have read a lot of post on this. My tps is non adjustable but still would like to check the volts. Install paper says green wire. DO I JUST POKE THE METER INTO THE WIRE?

 

Back probe it at the connector with a t pin if you have a wife or girlfriend that sews I'm sure they have some if not go to the sewing section and buy a pack way cheaper then what the parts stores sell

what you should make is some gator clips and sewing needles tack welded together, then just slip over a small rubber cap. you wont believe how many times ive used mine

 

or just use a t pin no offense but its simpler

 

Thanks - just so I'm clear, I am poking through the wire but the pin makes for a much smaller hole?

 

No your poking into the back of the conector
