Wiper motor

Just about ready to install wiper motor back in my 52.Should I buy the 12v set up or is just as easy to use a resistor and use my old one and who should I purshase either motor or resistor from,Thanks

Does your electric wiper work well on 6v? If so, I used one of these: Porsche 944 Turbo Radiator Cooling Fans Speed Resistors | eBay
(just one of the two) which is perfect for dropping 12v to 6v for the draw of the '52 wipers. It needs to be mounted where it can dissipate some heat, but it really doesn't get real hot. It is hell for heavy duty, made to drop an electric fan motor's speed that draws 2X as much.
