Doing a Monkey face the hard way......
From the 48/56 FTE forum.
It`s not easy swapping to a much newer frame but it does save another old Ford truck from the crusher.

Man I love those years of trucks.

Chris was always telling me to swap to a s-10 frame. He pointed me to a thread once, and the guys there made it look easy! (although i doubt it was!)

Ya not everyone loves em! But man they turn my crank. Just love the fat fenders in the front.

I love fenders though, when I look at my model a roadster, I wish they never would have gone from that body style!

What do you like better, the 48-49 monkey face or the manure spreader 51-52?

Oh manure spreader by far! Something bout those three teeth really does it for me haha.

Your not a huge fan of either of these styles either eh Morris?

While they are neat in so many ways I`m more into the 53-56 and 67-72 Ford trucks.
The second picture is an FTE 48-56 forum member`s 56 that passed away lately.

I'd take the '51-52 any day. Totally love that body/grill style. My favorite Ford truck body style of all. Not that I'm biased or opinionated at all.

A lot of people love these trucks tho there seems to be more parts are available for the 53-56.

Yes, there is almost nothing good aftermarket for body parts for the 48-52.
