60 F100 4x4 SWB questions

Hey all, new to the forum, fng from KS here. I've negotiated a deal on a 60 F100 custom cab 4x4 shortbed. It's a done deal, just have to make time during the busy holidays to pick it up. But I have a few questions, I've searched the forum and found similar questions but not exact, so sorry if these have been asked previously.
1) What transfer case, front/rear diffs came on these trucks? (It's got the orig 6cyl in it now)
2) What's the easiest v8 motor/trans swap in these trucks and will I have to change the T-case?
3) will the 57 F100 grill bolt-on to a 60 F100?
Thanks for any and input guys

Well I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure they didn't offer a shortbed 4x4 until 66 so It could be on a different frame but it originally would have had a dana 24 and dana 44 front and a 9" rear. The transfer case should be a divorced style if so you should easily be able to do an engine swap. I'm not an expert but I have a pretty good idea.

the grille for the 57 used round turn signals that partially mounted in the fenders, so you will need the fenders from a 57 or 58 to mount the grille properly. also the gravel pans were different.

Thanks for the responses guys, it's appreciated.

I thought Ford offered 4x4's starting in 1959 (prior to that, other comp's converted them (?))
