04 expedition air suspension issues

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody had this issue with their 04 EB edition expedition. My check air suspension msg came on, my air suspension does nothing. I took it to the ford dealer to pull codes. Codes C1760 - air suspension height sensor(rear), C1830 - compressor relay failure, C1881 - air suspension RF height sensor. I have jump the posts on the relay and the compressor runs. I have replaced the compressor relay & nothing happens still. I had replaced the RF height sensor so I know thats not bad. I just replaced the rear height sensor and still nothing happens. The dealer though it could be the 4wd module. They wanted $800 to replace the module & rear sensor so has anybody replace their 4wd module before? If I buy one I will still have to take my expo to the dealer to set the trim levels right?

Tough call, yes it could be a module or it could just be a corroded connector. It could also be a bad compressor. Did you jump the relay contacts to see if the compressor would start up?

yes I have jumped the post and the compressor runs.since I have replaced the right front height sensor, the rear height sensor, checked all the fuses which are good, the only thing left to me is the module.I don't know if that's a common problem but I wouldn't think so.

I'd pull it out and get a wiring diagram to test it before spending 800 bucks that you probably can't return if wrong.

If i replace the air suspension module myself will it need programmed? I want to make sure if I spend the money to replace the module & do it myself I dont have to do anything else special. Is it simply take out the old module, plug in the new one and the air suspension is back to normal? I dont want to have to take it back to the ford dealer if I dont have to.
