I OWN A '96 F-250,460,AUTO,4X4. I HAVE RECENTLY INSTALLED A 3" EXHAUST, SUPERCHIP AND K&N FIPK. THE LAST THING I AM LOOKING FOR ARE A GOOD SET OF HEADERS. I HAVE HEARD AND READ A LOT ABOUT THE THORLEY TRI-Y'S BEING ABOUT THE BEST FOR THESE TRUCKS. I HAVE TALKED TO A FEW EXHAUST SHOPS IN MY HOME TOWN AND NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW HOW WELL THEY WORK, OR HOW DIFFICULT THEY ARE TO INSTALL. JUST CURIOUS TO SEE WHAT ANYONE ELSE HAS TO SAY ON THIS SUBJECT.

I put Thorly's on my '89. Very good fit and all sensor fittings are already in place. I've had them on for 3-4 years with no signs of leaks or corrosion, the nickle plate just turns a nice Ford blue.
They cost a little more, but are worth it IMO.

I put a set of Thorleys on my truck also, and I'm completely satisfied with them. Installation was simple, they fit really well, and I've had no leaks with the gaskets Thorley provided.
