i always want Diesel with cargo van pretty hard find. how pull ?

It pulls pretty good, but keep in mind these old diesels only make 170HP and 340ft torque.


And yes, they are unbelievable to find!

I just curious how many MPG on diesel 6.9?

is it overdrive tranny?

I get around 14-16 with this one, no overdrive, and 4.10 gears. I drive 55mph all the time.

really. it seem same mpg as gas 351w? i had 89 E250 351W EFI i get about 15 mpg but no idea what ratio in rear axle? has no overdrive just C6

I'd love to see a gas van get 15mpg....


And for my diesel, timed with a meter, in the summer time I should top out at around 16-18, but will never see over 18 with my setup and in a 7000lbs, 7 foot tall van.

My 96 E250 5.8L/ E4ohno gets 15-16 mpg "empty" ( 8200 lbs at the scrapyard scales ) . Loaded I get 12mpg if I'm lucky ( mostly around 10mpg ) . This turd actually got 20 mpg for a few months right after I bought it. Then one day I filled it up and back to reality it came.
