Engine Noise clip- as bad as I think?

Looking at trucks and trying to stay away from early 3V 5.4L but found a pretty nice 2005 FX4 with under 70K miles, aside from the price haggling I was sickened when I heard the engine at idle:

This was after a good 30 minute drive and they shut it off for maybe 5 minutes and started again.

I'd say a cross between a sewing machine and diesel which is exactly what I have read about being bad news. Is it as bad as I think and should just keep looking? Other than that boy do I like those style trucks, was looking at STX's but this one has me spoiled with the power rear window and power rear side windows. Found one that had the whole timing area rebuilt before 107K miles, just about enough to keep me looking for a 2V 4.6L in those years.

Also this truck is an '05 and has a 6 disc H/U with aux button, when you hit the button it says "No aux audio" is there a 3.5mm input anywhere in '05?
